GraceKennedy Foods is responsible for distributing the La fe brand, Grace brand, Grace owned brands, and principal brands.
PURPOSE OF JOB Enter data into the database system in a timely manner.
Support the data team.
Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
KEY OUTPUTS/DELIVERABLES Verify accuracy of data imputed into the database Track documents received and completion dates Complete reports Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
Receives, sorts and forwards incoming and outgoing mail.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities.
Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Efficient execution of day-to-day activities and other assignments, as specified Daily, weekly, and monthly reports as specified by the Supervisor/Manager.

Diploma plus experience Bilingual:
English/Spanish REQUIRED 1-3 years of customer service experience required Strong data entry skills alpha and numeric Working knowledge of SAP prefer Must be detail oriented Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize issues KEY COMPETENCES Computer Skills:
must have working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Suite of products to facilitate data analysis and reconciliation of accounts and report preparation.
Communication:
speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates presentation skills and must be able to interact with management, warehouse, sales and marketing personnel.
Professionalism:

Experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)/retail or grocery distribution environment and customer service oriented.
